make every second count
Ive decided to have no resolutions at all, because it doesnt work on me. But thats not the point of me blogging. The actual point is to dedicate this post to my loved ones.
This year had been the best year of my life. Without my best friends by my side, theres no way im coming this far. The friends I've had in my life are the best thing ever. They can feel like sunshine when there's too much rain and light when there is darkness. Having them have given me the purest vision when im without direction and hope when im in despair. They will definitely be there for me no matter what until I find an answer to my prayer. Especilly to Aneey, Rasyiqah, Si Hui, Liah, Zuhairah, Khairiyah, Arif, Syafiq, Nazri, Hanuram, Syazwan and Adnan. With all of you around, it feels like I've been granted a special blessing. From the bottom of my heart, I love every one of you because you love me just the way I am, imperfections and all. Because you guys have never tried to change me. Because you all know that changing me is none of your business. And with all your love and support, it has made life more meaningful, beautiful and has helped me stay aware of its sacredness. Thank you so much for kissing away my tears and lifting the corners of my mouth. From care giver to cared-for, from cared-for to care-giver. Our friendship has come a full circle :)
On another note, I'd like to thank the other bunch of awesome people who have unexpectedly made a difference in my life and/or became my friend when i never thought we'd ever be. Friends like Baqir, Ariff Why, Arepp, Hykel, Dee, Annisa, Hidayat, Firhan, Syuqrie yadayada. There have been hills and valleys and turns here and there that have filled my life with all kinds of changes of challenges. But I made it through those times, because there were always special, good-humoured friends I meet, like you guys, along the way. Thanks for the memories.
Most importantly, to my father who has an arm to pillow my head while watching tv, to my mother whose mere presence continues to trigger the potential in myself, to my sisters who pull the stars closer for me to reach, to my cousins who have always stood by my side no matter what. Thanks a whole lot for everything. Especially my family, who have watched and shared, and loved and supported me with humour, encouragement and infinite patience. I love you all so much.
With all these people in my life for their love and eternal support, I am profoundly grateful. Happy new year everyone!
